Ryan's Rasslin' Moves

I think Ryan has already figured out he will be spending much of his young life defending himself against Reagan. I caught him working on some of his intimidation tactics the other night in his crib.

First he shows off his muscles - "welcome to the gun show".

Then he shows him "the talons of terror". Very frightening.

Next he says, "What? I didn't hear you. Did you say you wanted a knuckle sandwich?!"

If all that fails, he brings out the "death stare".

He's Awake!

Though he still sleeps like a champ, Ryan has allowed us to see his blue eyes a little more this week.

Brotherly Love

These photos were Reagan's idea. When he sits with Ryan he asks me to get the camera and take their picture! He is very interested in everything Ryan does, loves to kiss and rub his fuzzy little head and is always the first to tell me when Ryan is crying, hungry, needs a toy, etc. I know this all may not last, so I am trying to enjoy it while I can!

Mama Paparazzo

I know they say you take half as many pictures of the second child as you did of the first, but I am not so sure that applies to poor Ryan.

"I think she should go take pictures of Reagan. I feel like Sean Penn."
"I'm not in touch with my feelings quite yet, but I think I am learning 'annoyed'."
"Okay, seriously mom."
"Maybe if I pretend I'm sleeping she'll go away."
"I give up."

Ryan: Week 1

Ryan had a busy first week of life. He experienced his first bath, took many naps, hung out with Reagan and took some more naps. No wonder he was so tired!

First bath - can't say he enjoyed it, but he sure did smell yummy afterwards!

Napping with warm Papa - a grandson favorite.Napping with Nana (even Reagan got in on this one)
It's nice to have a brother who understands the powers of the pacifier.
Finally awake!
Asleep again.
Cheese!
