Congratulations Paw-Paw!

Today is Paw-Paw's last day of work. We wish him a happy and restful retirement full of naps with his grandsons in the big leather chair. It is well deserved!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a fun weekend with friends and family. Saturday, my best childhood friend, Kristi and her husband Brandon came to Longview to visit and meet Ryan. Reagan LOVED them and I had to compete with him for their attention! While here, Kristi also managed to switch the chatting neurons on in Ryan's head. He talked a little bit before she came, but now he talks so much, he is doing it in his sleep!
On Sunday my parents and my Aunt Janis came over to see Ryan. Ryan was pretty fond of my aunt and her fun jewelry! The warm weather also caused us to breakout the sprinkler and water hose and let Reagan go wild.

Shiny Happy People

I had to post this simply because I finally got a picture of both boys smiling at the camera at the same time!

Happy Mother's Day

I had a nice day with my guys. After church we came home and managed to take these mostly goofy but well-meaning pictures. Next we headed to my grandparents' place and let them meet Ryan for the first time. Ryan was a big fan of my Granny. She scooped him up and he immediately fell asleep in her arms. Afterwards we went home to enjoy the beautiful weather and grill fajitas. I think they tasted even better than usual because I didn't have to lift a finger!

Hmmm....

I am starting to think my boys look a little more alike than I originally thought.

Fun with Ryan

(My camera is still misbehaving - sorry!)
"Trucker Ryan"
"Thug Ryan" (I know - Reagan and I were having a little too much fun with this game...)

Finding his hands. Tasty!

Ryan: 3 Months

Hard to believe Ryan is already three months old. He is sleeping through the night, grasping objects and working on rolling over. He is typically all smiles - though I am somehow unable to capture that with my camera!
