Summer Fun

Just some pictures of the fun we had this summer !

Staying cool at Gen-Gen and Paw-Paw's

Swimming lessons with Ms. Donna

First time to jump off a diving board. Took him all week to work up the courage. But on the last day....

HE DID IT!

Moving Day

Ryan assesses the damage. Where's all our junk?

Tried to get a few last pictures of the boys in front of the house. Just after I snapped this first shot, the neighbors' GIANT, wet, smelly poodle pounced me from behind and mauled me. So this is THE last picture on Sweetheart Lane. Goodbye old house. Good riddance poodle.

Dinner with the Transformers

Before we moved, we were adopted by three ducks from the pond behind our house. They showed up in our back yard one night and the boys had a great time feeding them bread. Guess they enjoyed it too, because they returned each night at the same time to eat our stale baked goods. They eventually became brave enough to come to the backdoor and wait for dinner and didn't even flinch when Ryan squealed at or chased after them. They even found us one night in our front yard when we were no-shows at the backdoor. Reagan named them after his favorite Transformers: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead.

Ryan's First Haircut

The time had finally come for Ryan to get a trim so we brought him to see Miss Tracy. He was none too happy at first, but soon realized that Miss Tracy and her scissors were very nice. We just had her trim a bit off the back and fortunately his little curls bounced right back. He looks so handsome!

Viva Las Vegas!

No one in my party would pose in front of the golden Siegfried, Roy and naughty tiger, so I just took one of this random, photogenic fellow.

ELVIS SIGHTING!

Found him later singing in front of an antiques store.

Dinner at Lotus of Siam

Fountains in front of Bellagio. Just like "Ocean's Eleven" minus Brad Pitt.

Easter Rewind

Fever kept Ryan from dressing up and church this Easter and bad weather kept us all from hunting eggs outdoors. We modified our plans and had an indoor egg hunt and made the boys dress up in their Easter finery the next Sunday. In the end, the boys got their Easter baskets and egg hunt and momma got her pictures of boys in cute clothes. Everyone happy!
Dyeing Easter eggs. Though he looks like he is in pain, Reagan really did enjoy it.

Checking out loot from Easter Bunny.

Reading a little Spiderman before church.

The indoor egg hunt.

We had already participated in eggs hunts at school, with friends, etc. Guess Reagan was still feeling competitive though he was the only kid at this egg hunt! He ran from egg to egg like someone was going to get there before him.

Griswold Family Vacation

Last week we took an impromptu family trip to Dallas. We visited Six Flags, the Fort Worth Zoo, a Rangers game and the Ringling Bros. circus. As crazy as it sounds, we really had a great time.

The before picture.

Reagan and John preparing for The Sombrero. Ryan and I sat this one out.

Ole'!!

Ryan and I are driving the rig in front. Guess John is telling us to keep our eyes on the road.

Reagan's first roller coaster. Didn't have any good pics of Reagan, but loved this one of the kid in the back screaming.

The Ferris Wheel

Ryan and his $7.00 soft drink.

Upgrading to the Mini Mine Train

Taking a train ride. A big hit.

Ryan kept telling the poor kid behind us, "WOO-WOOT!"

Reagan scared of losing his life. Mommy scared of losing a flip-flop.

"Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there
That the Yanks are coming, the Yanks are coming..."

Reagan took the bumper cars very seriously and very personally. I saw him give the "Nash Stare" to more than one fellow bumper.

Enjoying a light breakfast and more Michael Jackson coverage on the television.

Another train ride - this time at the Fort Worth Zoo.
