Ryan was so excited - he marched right into his classroom and never looked back. He ate his lunch, didn't throw any food and took a nap on his mat! His teachers said the only tears shed were when he bumped his head. A+!
Reagan enjoyed being with his old friends. He also had a a good day and was excited to report that he had earned a gold coin and his buddy had been stung by a wasp at recess. All his friends and his teachers, even though "they are girls", thought his new backpack and Transformer lunch bag were "very cool".
Managed to snap this one shot then my camera battery died. Had to retrieve the video camera for the rest. The only meltdown of the day belonged to me.
Ryan's main interest was checking out and eating the contents of his lunch bag.
We celebrated our first day of school with a run by the snow cone stand. Snow cones in September you ask? In East Texas, snow cones know no season.
