The second graders at Reagan's school put on a "Wax Museum" every spring. The kids pick a "Great American" and study them for months - we have done reports, power point presentations, books, etc. At the end of the unit, the students dress as their American and memorize a short summary of that person's life. The teachers line them up in the gym and cafeteria and family members come and push the "button" sticker on their hand. They say their lines then freeze back into position. There were past presidents, first ladies, athletes, war heroes, civil rights leaders and even Steve Jobs. It was SO stinking cute and entertaining. I am pleased to say that Reagan was a popular attraction, but he got so tired of reciting by the end he was as pale as his crazy wig. He had suffered from the stomach bug this week and I was just waiting for him to puke on someone when they pushed his button. He made it through and did a great job! So proud of you Little Einstein!
